Winterlude

I guess its a take on the word "interlude". Every February Ottawa takes a chance that they can dodge the mid winter thaw and have a mid winter party. So far, they have batted 3 out of 10, thereabouts. Oh well...the warm weather is nice, though the fella in the picture below clearly does not think so.

Some of the ice sculptures are really big!
People come from all over the world to make ice sculptures. I wonder what this Jamaican really thinks of the cold?

Above is the flying pig. My favorite. I think it was finished for about a half hour before the thaw started icicles to form off the big fella's snout!
