Heather Dale and Stan Rogers

My two favorite musical artists have GOT to be Heather Dale and Stan Rogers.

(Heather Dale being spooky!)

This is the one that I sing when I am teaching swordfighting...inside voice of course...

But for witchy songs, its hard to beat Archie Fisher.  Here is a version of Witch of the Westmorland as sung by Stan Rogers.  The Canadian accent really doesn't work for this song, but for a bass singer, he is hard to beat.

Thats not his best though...I think his best is "The Mary Ellen Carter", he is at his best with songs that he has sung himself.

Hope you enjoy this little selection as much as I enjoyed yours!

Have you heard "The Old Duke" from Heather Dale's latest album? The first verse reminds me somewhat of you.
