Tees

While I am busy processing the pictures Brenda took of the ice sculptures ( a MUCH colder way to creat ephemeral art than sand castles) I thought I would discuss the relative merits of that ubiquitous item of clothing, the tee shirt.
Invented in Italy along with a lot of other really good ideas, including Gina Lolabigida and pizza, the tee shirt was only an item of underwear until the mid '60s, where upon it became a canvas for the daily opinions of dissaffected youth. In fact, one could argue whether tee shirts were actually a prototype, and slightly more cumbersome form of blogging. The defence rests.....

So do I dude.....
Well, now that THAT is out of the way. Oh, that reminds me, they grow melons in florida don't they?

Yeah. You think its a breakfast cereal!

I love the lebrechan's expression!

(hint...the lucky charms shirts are supposed to be worn by the Florida girl above!)

Where can I get that Lucky Charms shirt? No seriously. LMAO!!! That reminds me....I bought a tee shirt at a climbing convention a couple years ago. It's just a little white tee shirt with the silhouette of a climber on rope down the center. Didn't realize until I put it on....he's definitely climbing, all right! Jeez.

I had no idea the tee shirt was underwear until the 60s. But now that I think about it, that makes sense.

If it weren't for the T-shirt industry, my husband and I would go naked most of the time.

My lucky charms would be out in the breeze for all to see...

or tucked into my belt....(sigh)

GET A BRA

Sorry Stag, guess I'm just old fashioned, Cause I sure wouldn't let my daughter out of the house looking like that ~~ not that she ever would! She is built like that, too, poor child. She didn't get it from me...
