Weird Facts from EatYourMakup@blogspot.com

<<::Weird Facts::>>
This are some interesting facts I found that some chick researched. I found it humourus.
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have
produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.
(Hardly seems worth it.)
If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is
produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb. !
(Now that's more like it!)
The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the
body to squirt blood 30 feet.
(O.M.G.!)
A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes.
(In my next life, I want to be a pig.)
A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it starves
to death! .
(Creepy)
(I'm still not over the pig.)
Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour
(Don't try this at home, maybe at work)
The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached
to its body. The female initiates sex by ripping the male's head off.
("Honey, I'm home. What the....?!")
The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It's like a human
jumping the length of a football field.
(30 minutes..lucky pig! Can you imagine?)
The catfish has over 27,000 taste buds.
(What could be so tasty on the bottom of a pond?)
Some lions mate over 50 times a day.
(I still want to be a pig in my next life...quality over quantity)
Butterflies taste with their feet.
(Something I always wanted to know.)
The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue.
(Hmmmmmm......)
Right-handed people live, on average, nine years longer than
left-handed people.
(If you're ambidextrous, do you split the difference?)
Elephants are the only animals that cannot jump.
(Okay, so that would be a good thing)
A cat's urine glows under a black light.
(I wonder who was paid to figure that out?)
An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.
(I know some people like that.)
Starfish have no brains.
(I know some people like that too.)
Polar bears are left-handed.
(If they switch, they'll live a lot longer)
Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.
(What about that pig??)

Warning...technical "guy" stuff follows..........

Well Zlanth, it has taken me a long time, and a LOT of seaching through data bases and help files. I have, like totally given up an anybody's tech support. It seems to be a "settings" problem.

The mail now works with "personalities". I have in "incoming mail" personality, and outgoing mail personality, and a generic personality which seems to serve the same purpose as a "zero" in math....a place holder.
Trouble is...with Eudora and Firefox, you cannot have different passwords for each personality, but you CAN with outlook express. After much hair pulling, my OE works like a charm! Since I get my mail in on one server (cyberus) and send it out on another server (Rogers)it is OE or nuthin!
A couple of days ago, I went on safari into the Eudora help files. About 60 hours of raking through their "help" (I use the term loosely!) files crystalized the report above, and also, buried way down in the bowels of the files was instructions on how to "restore" the lost buttons on my tool bar. (There are Lost Settings Buttons? Really? Do you think they might be useful?)
Feeling like Indiana Jones (Or Moose Jaw Bill...grin!) I actually DID restore some items on my "options" menue which simply werent there before...one of those options was the "choose your port" option. Since Rogers had suddenly, without warning, comandeered my port 25, (I have ports? Really? Is that like "hives"?) thereby scotching my access to Cyberus though port 25, (this was the original problem)I had to go to some other port to get my emails. I am now doing so. But this is why I need the two passwords!

It has taken me about 60 hours to get to this point. Still can't send email, but then, maybe its something simple, like the temp password Rogers gave me has expired or some such. Both Eudora and Firefox's Thunderbird are like TOTALLY unusable. The worst was Thunderbird.
I know people who LOVE Thunderbird, but my mileage differes....it is a poor copy of Eudora, and it doesn't work any better.
I am taking a couple of days rest from this problem just to calm down.

The real problem is that "No, I don't want to use Outlook Express", and "no, I don't want to move my entire mail to Rogers...Cyberus has done well for me in the past, and they host my domain.
